In print since 1887, I took over as editor of this monthly publication in 2016 and as designer and photographer in 2017. In 2019 the magazine won an award for Layout and Design at the Annual Association for Church Editors Awards in London.
The magazine is a 48 page full colour monthly publication with a small print run of 1000 magazines. The magazine is available by subscription and is also available to buy in local shops. It features editorial as well as local news stories and events, local history, wildlife and charities.
I worked with Helen for a number of years in her role as editor of the Henfield, Shermanbury and Woodmancote Parish Magazine. Her layout and design work is superb. She is sensitive to what the reader sees on the page and the layout is always eye catching and interesting. Her hard work meant that in June 2019 the magazine won the category for Layout and Design at the Association for Church Editors National Church Magazine awards in London. That was well deserved and is testament to her professionalism, eye for detail and ability to respond to her clients needs creatively.
I can’t recommend her enough.
